Q. What is your style of videography?
A. I don't limit myself to one style of videography. I mainly focus on a videojournalistic style, but if I see an opportunity for an excellent arranged angle shot, then I will take it. Candid's are preferred by most because the images capture true emotions and feelings as opposed to traditional videography where the people look stiff and uncomfortable.

We shoot documentary style video. Our aim is to capture the events of the day as they unfold without interfering in the natural flow of things. What this means, is that while we will be there at every important moment of your day, we will also go largely unnoticed. We are present at your wedding to ‘document’ the day as it happens naturally and not to stage events or ask anyone to ‘perform’ for the camera.

Q. What is your story telling style?
A. Our story telling style goes hand in hand with our documentary shooting style. We let the people and the events of the day speak for themselves. The finished video will be the story of your wedding as told by you, your guests and all of the special moments that occur which make this day unforgettable. From the opening shot of the giggling bridesmaids, to the parents of the beloved couples fighting back tears, to your niece & nephews enjoying the events unfold, the story of your wedding day is told in an elegant and soulful style, naturally as it happened without the use of distracting and unnecessary special effects.

Q.What type of cameras do you use?
A. We use a combination of the latest professional Canon camcorders, the Canon XL2 and the Canon XM2. These are professional 3CCD cameras that not only produce crystal clear images but with very beautiful vibrant colors and also capture CD quality audio. But, the most important aspect of these cameras is their ability to shoot with native 16:9 film cine look. The end product will look astonishingly beautiful and elegent. Because of this, we get many referrel by past clients for their families & friends weddings.

Q.What equipment do you use to edit our video?
A.First, every aspect of your wedding video is done digitally. The cameras record to digital videotape. This is then digitally transferred to our computer’s hard drives before we begin the non-linear editing process. We then create your video using the exact same video editing software that is used to edit feature films. And the final output is digitally mastered to DVD. The result of this process is a movie that will retain its pristine video and audio quality for generations!

Q. Do you use bright lights?
A. Our cameras have the ability to record a crisp and clear image in extremely low light situations without the use of large mood killing lights. However, as a precaution we do carry extremely small camera lights that we rarely, if ever find the need to use. If for some reason we are in a situation where it is absolutely necessary to use a camera light, then you can be assured that the light will be used extremely sparingly and directed only where we need it.

Q. Who will be the videographers at our wedding?
A. Naz, the owner of Cinematic Lens Productions will personally handle all of the aspects of your wedding video from the initial planning, to the shooting, to the editing and finally to the end product. We prefer to meet each couple and spend a few hours together before the big day so we can all get to know each other a little. Something casual like coffee in the afternoon or maybe even a few cocktails in the evening! This way we can listen to the plans you have made for the wedding, get an idea of your personal tastes and hear the expectations you have for your video.

We have second videographer, Faz, who will cover another angle should there be 2 videographers in the packages or if there is more than 1 wedding during the weekends.

Q. What is all day coverage during solemnization?
A. All day coverage (up to 5 hours) during solemnization means we will be able to accompany you during hair stylist and the make-up session, then taking your shots at every angle as you are getting ready, the elegent wedding gown, the "Hantaran", the guests, the food, etc. I will cover everything that you want me to in the 5 hours time period until your solemnization ends that usually takes up to 2 hours. It makes for a great story of your day in the end videos.

Q. How long will the video DVD be and how many DVDs will we receive?
A. The whole edited video footages for the video DVD will be around 90mins depending on packages and we will deliver 3 DVDs fully edited with personalised DVD cover and direct printing on DVD from your wedding day.

Q. How long before we can see our videos?
A. We will deliver the videos in DVD format within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date.

Q. Can you retouch old photos to videos, and change them to b/w?
A. The options are virtually limitless. We can change any photos or analog videos to black&white, sepia, cross-process, film look, etc.

Q. How do we book our date, and what are your payment terms?
A. All you have to do to book your date is to pay a deposit of $300 upfront, and the date is yours. So long there is no upfront payment, we let the date open. The remainder of your payment will be paid once the DVD is completed so that prior or during your wedding day, you will not worry about any payment as there is no payment on your wedding day!
